Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darstknasset Oystenteller (ranked 291 p4p, 374 weight class) and Haruki Muramaki (ranked 45 p4p, 57 weight class). Oystenteller's entrance music is "You're Having My Baby" by Paul Anka. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darstknasset Oystenteller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Haruki Muramaki!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oystenteller getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Oystenteller tries to close the distance and clinch but Muramaki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Muramaki is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Oystenteller ducks under a wild hook from Muramaki.
Oystenteller wants to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Oystenteller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Oystenteller has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doom\'s Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Oystenteller connects with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good leg kick by Oystenteller.
Oystenteller misses with a looping right.
Oystenteller lands a leg kick that knocks Muramaki off balance momentarily.

Oystenteller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Muramaki manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Oystenteller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Muramaki as he avoids it easily.
Oystenteller tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Muramaki cracks Oystenteller with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Oystenteller throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Haruki Muramaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Muramaki takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Muramaki misses with a straight right.
Oystenteller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Muramaki as he avoids it easily.
Oystenteller tries to clinch up.
Oystenteller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Muramaki avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darstknasset Oystenteller. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Oystenteller swings for the body but Muramaki moves out of range.
Oystenteller lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Oystenteller takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oystenteller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Muramaki swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oystenteller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Muramaki to the ground. Oystenteller is now in Muramaki's guard.
Muramaki wants to get back to his feet but Oystenteller is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Muramaki is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muramaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oystenteller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Muramaki is on top in guard.


That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oystenteller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Muramaki has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Oystenteller to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Muramaki is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Oystenteller pulls down on the head and he's put Muramaki to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Darstknasset Oystenteller!
An out of breath Darstknasset Oystenteller thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
