Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudy Beckwith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Bill Jr!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckwith closes the distance and clinches up with Bill Jr, looking for a takedown. Beckwith pushes Bill Jr against the cage but Bill Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Beckwith gets a takedown into half guard.
Beckwith is keen to just control but Bill Jr is a slippery customer.
Beckwith wants to pass the guard but Bill Jr is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beckwith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bill Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bill Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beckwith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bill Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Beckwith's legs - danger averted.

Beckwith isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bill Jr stacks Beckwith on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bill Jr!

That was a close round but I would say that Rudy Beckwith will probably get the nod.

Beckwith shoots for a double leg takedown but Bill Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Beckwith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bill Jr has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bill Jr has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Beckwith scores with a one two! Bill Jr had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Beckwith feints and as Bill Jr raises his hands in defense, Beckwith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
