Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Biabas Kitjakarn (ranked 255 p4p, 442 weight class) and Lars Kay (ranked 18 p4p, 37 weight class). Kitjakarn comes to the cage accompanied by Dancing Drums. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Biabas Kitjakarn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lars Kay! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kitjakarn slips a straight right by Kay. A little feinted left hand from Kitjakarn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Decent striking displayed by Kitjakarn there.
It looks like Lars Kay has been cut. Kay takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nice uppercut lands for Kay. That snapped Kitjakarn's head back.
Kay connects with a jab. Kay misses with a two punch combination.

Kay throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kitjakarn sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kay fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kitjakarn sprawls well initially but Kay persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kay not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kay has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are battling for position here. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Kay works over Kitjakarn with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kitjakarn is looking to sweep but instead, Kay has passed into half guard.

Kitjakarn moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kay lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kitjakarn loads up on a big right hand but Kay slips the punch. Kay ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kitjakarn. Kay shoots in looking for a takedown. Kitjakarn tries to sprawl out of it but Kay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kitjakarn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kitjakarn was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kay throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Kay shoots in for a takedown but Kitjakarn shows good takedown defense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kitjakarn moves away. Kay slips a jab from Kitjakarn. Kitjakarn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kay cracks Kitjakarn with an open hand slap. Lars Kay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kitjakarn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kitjakarn moves away from the strike by Kay. Kay throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A shot to the body from Kay misses and Kitjakarn counters with a stiff right hand. Kitjakarn lands a lovely overhand right. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kitjakarn. Kitjakarn fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kitjakarn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kay moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kay closes the distance and lands a one-two. Kitjakarn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kay avoids a kick to the body.
Kay shoots in for a takedown but Kitjakarn shows good takedown defense. Biabas Kitjakarn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lars Kay.

A chopping leg kick lands by Kitjakarn. Kay connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kay misses with an uppercut. Kitjakarn takes a body punch but keeps moving. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kitjakarn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kay has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kay and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kay with the counter takedown but Kitjakarn avoids it easily. Kitjakarn avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kay connects with a single shot there. Kitjakarn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kay swings for the body but Kitjakarn moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A nice inside leg kick there by Kitjakarn. Kay lands a slapping body shot.

Kay throws the left hand but Kitjakarn avoids the punch easily. Kay slips a jab from Kitjakarn. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Kay takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kitjakarn pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kitjakarn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kay takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Kitjakarn gets off balance looking for a body kick and Kay counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kitjakarn! Kay in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Kitjakarn is trying to improve his position. Kay working the ground and pound from side control. You can see the frustration on Kitjakarn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kitjakarn is not in a great position here, taking some shots. That's two minutes gone in the round. Kitjakarn is controlling Kay's trapped leg to prevent Kay from advancing to side control. Biabas Kitjakarn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kitjakarn moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kay preventing the sweep. Kitjakarn has his hands on Kay's head, controlling the position. Lars Kay has got the better of the ground game so far. Kitjakarn's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Kay trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Kitjakarn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kay lands a couple of elbows. Kay is looking to work some ground and pound but Kitjakarn has wrist control. Lars Kay is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kitjakarn misses with a looping left. An inside leg kick from Kitjakarn misses. Kay moves into range and connects with a jab. Kay tests Kitjakarn's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kay jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kitjakarn quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Kay shoots for a takedown but Kitjakarn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kay throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kitjakarn was covering up waiting for the punch and Kay finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kitjakarn trying to keep a closed guard but Kay is proving a slippery customer.
Kay trying to control but Kitjakarn is working from the bottom. Kitjakarn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kay controls the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Lars Kay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Lars Kay! A very excited looking Lars Kay rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
