Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Deane (ranked 162 p4p, 125 weight class) and Ryder Young (ranked 13 p4p, 11 weight class). Deane comes to the cage accompanied by Cinderella Man. Young has chosen Of Monsters and Men - Destroyer as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calvin Deane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryder Young!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young looks to land a left hand but Deane moved out of range nicely.

Deane dives in and grabs Young's left leg, looking for a takedown. Young pushes down on Deane's head and hops out.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Deane is defended easily by Young.

I was talking to Deane's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Young throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Deane sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Young swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Deane missing with a left hand there. Young was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Deane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Young.
Deane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
BOOM! Young lands a beautiful left hook that drops Deane. Deane tries to recover but Young is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Deane lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryder Young!
