Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Anudo (ranked 904 p4p, 641 weight class) and Kim Jones (ranked 58 p4p, 39 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mac Anudo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kim Jones!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anudo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Anudo lands with a straight right. Jones didn't see that one coming.
Anudo fails to land the takedown.
Nice straight punches there by Anudo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Anudo.
Anudo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Anudo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anudo is in Jones's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anudo passes Jones's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Anudo stalling away here and it's allowed Jones to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Anudo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anudo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anudo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Anudo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anudo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Anudo has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Jones prevents Anudo from moving into mount.

Anudo throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Jones felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Anudo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

and Anudo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

It looked like Anudo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Anudo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Crunch! Jones slams his shin into Anudo's torso.

Anudo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Anudo throws a strike but Jones rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anudo throws a sloppy strike and Jones uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Jones has ended up in Anudo's guard.

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Anudo is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.
Anudo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Anudo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.

Mac Anudo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Anudo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.

I would just about give that final round to Kim Jones.
