Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Sitsongrit (ranked 198 p4p, 223 weight class) and Richard Mesquita (ranked 26 p4p, 28 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mesquita closes the distance and clinches up with Sitsongrit, looking for a takedown. Mesquita pushes Sitsongrit against the cage but Sitsongrit circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Sitsongrit manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Sitsongrit on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sitsongrit tries to get out of the position.

Mesquita is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sitsongrit to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sitsongrit shrugs it off.
