Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Abner (ranked 1019 p4p, 1592 weight class) and Lost Bet (ranked 117 p4p, 175 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Beau Abner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lost Bet! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bet slips under a jab from Abner. Abner lands with a thumping leg kick.
Abner has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zombie MMA in the buildup to the fight. Bet looks to score with a jab to the body but Abner is just out of range. Bet scores with a hook. Abner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bet ducks right into an uppercut from Abner. Bet catches Abner with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Abner moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Bet goes down! Can Abner finish him!? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Abner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bet bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Bet misses with a body shot
and Abner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Abner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bet counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body kick there by Abner. Bet looks winded! Abner with the inside leg kick. Bet has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Abner. A leg kick checked by Bet. Abner backing away here, and Bet unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Bet keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Abner. Bet takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Abner clobbers Bet with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Abner throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Abner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Abner fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abner throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Beau Abner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bet stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Abner. Bet has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Abner. Jab, jab by Abner - just one landing. A low kick lands for Abner.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Abner and Bet goes tumbling to the canvas! Abner follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Bet is rocked!
It looks like Lost Bet has been cut. Bet is looking to escape. You can see that Bet has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks Bet is in trouble now - Abner has advanced to mount! Bet is squirming around, avoiding Abner's attempts to control the action. Abner controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abner throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Abner trying to control but Bet is having none of it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Abner content just to control the position here. Bet is squirming around, avoiding Abner's attempts to control the action. Bet really wants to buck Abner off and get back to his feet. Abner misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bet squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Abner controlling from the full mount. Bet is trying to stand. Abner controlling his opponent. Bet trying desperately to get to his feet.
Abner trying to control but Bet is having none of it. Abner won't let Bet get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Beau Abner dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lost Bet's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Bet wants to slow Abner down by chopping away at his legs. An attempted straight right counter from Abner misses the target. Bet throws a leg kick and Abner counters with a low kick, right behind Bet 's knee. Bet blocks the body kick.
Bet now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Bet on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Abner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bet sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bet throws a right and a left that Abner avoids nicely. Bet takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bet moves out of range as Abner throws a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abner moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Abner throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Bet has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Abner. Abner lands with an uppercut that bounces Bet off the ropes and back into range. Bet is breathing heavily. Abner fakes the body blow, causing Bet to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Bet goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
