Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 31 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Noel Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 32 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ed Green! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green blocks a jab. Green throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Diaz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Diaz uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Diaz lands a slapping body shot.
Green looks to land a right hand but Diaz moved out of range. Green is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Diaz just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Green has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Noel Diaz! Noel Diaz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
