The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro tries a head kick but it misses.
Castro ducks under a wild hook from McLaughlin.
McLaughlin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McLaughlin, as that shot connected.
Castro has his takedown stuffed
and Castro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Castro closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McLaughlin's guard.
McLaughlin is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Castro dives into side control.

Castro works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
McLaughlin takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Castro cracks McLaughlin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Castro is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, McLaughlin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
