Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Tyler (ranked 227 p4p, 260 weight class) and Roman Zhdanov (ranked 29 p4p, 35 weight class). Zhdanov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Малиновая Лада (Raspberry Lada) by Gayazov$ Brother$. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Zhdanov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Tyler has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

and Zhdanov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tyler! Zhdanov lets Tyler back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Zhdanov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tyler's knee momentarily.

Jeez, Pete Tyler's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
