Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kodiyak Redd (ranked 833 p4p, 856 weight class) and Red Greene (ranked 37 p4p, 38 weight class). Kodiyak Redd could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Red Greene's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kodiyak Redd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Red Greene!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene blocks a jab.
Greene looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Redd doesn't manage to clinch there - Greene circles away.
Greene looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Redd pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Greene back to the cage. Redd follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Greene stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Greene wants it to stay on the feet.

Redd is stalling here. Greene is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Redd seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Greene has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
