PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Reis (ranked 3112 p4p, 3404 weight class) and Edward Sleon (ranked 346 p4p, 375 weight class). Reis comes into the arena with Cree Prayer Song - Young Spirit blaring out of the sound system. Sleon has chosen Shabba Madda Pot - Dexta Daps as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sleon shoots in but no luck this time.
Some wild striking there from Reis.
Sleon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Reis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sleon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Reis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sleon has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sleon and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sleon is looking for a kimura but Reis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sleon to get the leverage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reis is looking to cinch up a triangle. Sleon throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Reis's body to avoid the submission. Reis has instead reached around Sleon's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Reis arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

A relieved looking Dakota Reis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
