Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yaroslav Rurik (ranked 966 p4p, 1250 weight class) and Otto McBean (ranked 74 p4p, 94 weight class). The key to victory for Yaroslav Rurik has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yaroslav Rurik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto McBean! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rurik feints and then cracks McBean's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McBean down. McBean slips a straight right by Rurik. Yaroslav Rurik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rurik scores with a nice strike. A jab from Rurik misses. Rurik scores with a slapping inside leg kick. McBean on the wrong end of a nice hook. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Rurik - that will leave a mark!
Nice uppercut lands for McBean. That snapped Rurik's head back.
Rurik staying out of range there. A little feinted left hand from Rurik on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Rurik throws a leg kick and McBean counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McBean is stalling in the full guard. McBean trying to control the position from guard on top but Rurik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rurik is pulling down on McBean's head to control his posture. Rurik will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McBean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McBean drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rurik looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rurik looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rurik! McBean is looking for a sweep. McBean wants to control but Rurik postures up. Rurik tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Rurik tries to stand but McBean controls the position and pulls Rurik into his guard. McBean looking for a guillotine here but Rurik defends easily.
McBean working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rurik doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but McBean is tightening it up a little... Rurik has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rurik reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rurik taps out! Nice BJJ there by McBean!
