The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zapina tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dayton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Zapina takes the fight into the clinch.
Zapina misses with a punch to the body.
Nice body punch from Zapina.
Dayton avoids a wild elbow strike from Zapina.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dayton manages to pull guard.
Zapina preventing the sweep.
Dayton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zapina gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dayton pushes a forearm under Zapina's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Zapina is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
