Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Norman Boma (ranked 642 p4p, 857 weight class) and Macho Man Randy (ranked 90 p4p, 118 weight class). Boma comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Bodies. Norman Boma could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Macho Man Randy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Norman Boma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Macho Man Randy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Francis DeMontford and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boma counters with a left to the body.
Randy tests Boma's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Randy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boma sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Boma throwing a counter right hand but Randy manages to avoid it.
Randy missing with a left hand there. Boma was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Randy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Randy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boma.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Randy ducks under a wild hook from Boma.
Boma moves out of range as Randy strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Boma on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Randy looks to land a right hand but Boma moved out of range.
Boma lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Boma throws a shot from downtown. Randy moves away and avoids it.

Despite the aggression on Randy's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Randy throws a jab when Boma was well out of range.

Randy throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Randy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Randy cracks Boma with an uppercut from hell and Boma crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Randy's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Boma is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Randy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Randy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oh Boma is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Boma can't keep his opponent in guard - Randy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Randy wants to work for an arm triangle but Boma is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Boma seems to have got his legs back now.
Randy prevents Boma from improving his position.
Boma makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Boma.
Boma will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boma is looking for a triangle but Randy pushes his legs off easily.

Randy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boma is on top in guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boma can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Boma pushing down on Randy's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Randy wants to get back to full guard.
Boma stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Randy to get to his feet.
Boma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Randy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boma cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Macho Man Randy dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Randy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Boma counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Randy is still on wobbly legs! Can Boma finish him?
Randy tries to get into range but Boma steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Randy! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Boma scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Norman Boma!
Norman Boma was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
