Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carter Wright (ranked 281 p4p, 541 weight class) and Andor Seres (ranked 37 p4p, 76 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Carter Wright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andor Seres! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Seres throws out the jab. Wright gets caught flat footed, as Seres shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Seres controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wright is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Wright wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Seres manages to pass to side control. Seres stops Wright from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Seres slows the pace down in half guard. Wright looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Wright tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Seres manages to move to mount!
Wright wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Seres content just to control the position here. Wright is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Wright is trying to stand but he's just given Seres his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright is trying to get back to his feet but Seres has full control of the position and if anything, Wright has just worked his way into a worse spot. Seres slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Andor Seres dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Wright cracks Seres with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Seres connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wright's hands. Seres will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Seres misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wright.

Seres scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice straight punches there by Seres. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Seres. Wright looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wright throws a right and a left that both miss. Wright defending well as Seres loads up on a big left hand. Wright swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Some wild striking there from Wright.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seres misses with a hook. Seres is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Seres pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Wright tried to counter with a leg kick but Seres avoided it. Seres throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wright swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Seres tries to clinch up. Wright takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Wright throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Seres will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Seres misses with a left hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Seres displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Wright drops his hands momentarily and Seres takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Andor Seres seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Seres lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Wright throws a good cross that connects.
A punch combination from Seres misses. Andor Seres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wright takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Seres throws a leg kick which misses Wright's front leg but catches the back leg as Wright tries to avoid it. Seres tries to close the distance and clinch but Wright swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Seres looks to throw the jab but Wright is out of range. Seres misses with a leg kick and Wright counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright slips a jab from Seres. Wright throws a right hand that misses
letting Seres counter with a right hand. Seres throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Wright misses its target. Seres staying out of range there. Seres has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Seres connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wright momentarily.
Seres throws a looping overhand right but Wright ducks down to avoid it. Wright takes a jab right on the kisser.
Seres slips under a jab. Seres loads up on a big right hand but Wright slips the punch. Nice defenses there by Wright. Seres takes a swing at Wright's ribcage but misses. Wright appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Seres chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Seres gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wright checks a low kick from Seres. A little feinted left hand from Wright on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Seres cracks Wright with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wright dips to his left and cracks Seres with an uppercut! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Seres throws an overhand right that lands on Wright's shoulder, as Wright tries to avoid the shot. Wright clobbers Seres with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Wright on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Seres looks to land a left hand but Wright moved out of range nicely. Carter Wright is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wright stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Seres. Wright stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Wright is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wright throws a big shot that misses. Seres keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wright. Seres swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Andor Seres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Wright scores with a jab. Andor Seres is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Seres misses the jab. Nice shot by Seres. Seres throws a nice inside leg kick. Wright looks to score with a jab to the body but Seres is just out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Seres! But no joy. Wright avoids a punch combination nicely.

It looked like Wright wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Seres getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Wright misses with a straight right. Wright loads up on a big right hand but Seres slips the punch. Seres lands a glancing blow to the side of Wright's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seres lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. The fighters circle momentarily. Seres darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Wright misses with a hook. Wright throws a solid leg kick but Seres takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wright. Seres steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wright. A chopping leg kick lands by Seres. Seres displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wright throws out the jab. Wright uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Seres. A nice leg kick lands there from Seres. Wright throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Seres connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A telegraphed right hand from Wright misses the target. Seres scores with a nice head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Seres throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Wright has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Seres. Wright is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Seres steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wright. It seemed like Seres was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Seres throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wright. This has been an exciting period of action! Wright throws a shot from downtown. Seres moves away and avoids it. Seres swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wright throws a hook to the side of Seres's head but Seres sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Seres tries to score with a low kick but Wright moves his leg out of the way. Seres pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Seres cracks Wright with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Seres ducks under a wild hook from Wright. Wright throws a shot from downtown. Seres moves away and avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A nice leg kick from Seres, right into the meat of the thigh.
Seres uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wright.
Wright gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Seres won't allow Wright to get back to his feet. Wright is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Seres dives into side control.
Seres is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wright's shoulder. That is not cool. Wright is trying to buck Seres off. Seres is looking to take a break and control but Wright is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wright is pushing Seres's head away, looking to escape. Seres manages to hold on to the position though. Seres trying to control the position but Wright is working away. Wright wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Wright explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Seres gets a double leg takedown into Wright's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wright wants to stand but Seres is controlling the position. Seres works over Wright with some ground and pound from guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Andor Seres comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Seres has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
