Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monkey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rolf avoids the head kick by Monkey.
Monkey walks into a stiff left hand from Rolf.
Rolf chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Monkey can pounce on him.
Rolf lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Jakob Rolf has been cut.
Monkey throws a leg kick
and Rolf connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Monkey lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rolf's sensitive parts.
Monkey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rolf.
A jab from Rolf misses.
Monkey keeps the fight on the outside.
Monkey seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rolf has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Monkey misses with a kick to the body
letting Rolf counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rolf throws a shot to the body.
Rolf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rolf seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Monkey is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
