Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tanaka Matsuda (ranked 383 p4p, 707 weight class) and Principo Adam (ranked 39 p4p, 76 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Matsuda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gojira - Another World. Adam is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dona Eis Requiem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsuda takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Adam misses with a low kick as Matsuda jumps back.
Matsuda drops down looking for a counter takedown but Adam sprawls and moves away.
Matsuda tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adam sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Matsuda somewhat.
Adam throws a solid leg kick but Matsuda takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Adam.
Adam fails to land with a series of punches.
Matsuda lands with a shot to the body.
Adam throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

That was a close round but I would say that Tanaka Matsuda will probably get the nod.

Matsuda looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Adam throws a shot from downtown. Matsuda moves away and avoids it.
Adam fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Adam keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A little jabbing left from Adam on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Adam drops his hands momentarily and Matsuda takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Matsuda tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adam swivels and escapes.

and Matsuda decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Adam's guard.
Our spies down at at GWad's Playpen inform us that Adam has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Matsuda has gone for a leg lock! Adam slips out almost immediately though and dives into Matsuda's guard.
