Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph McGuire (ranked 290 p4p, 362 weight class) and Devonte Pinks (ranked 43 p4p, 58 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Confederate Railroad - Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind. Pinks has chosen HUMBLE. as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph McGuire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devonte Pinks!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. McGuire darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
McGuire takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Pinks is rocked!
Pinks connects with a jab.
Pinks is still on wobbly legs! Can McGuire finish him?
McGuire jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pinks swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pinks seems to have recovered his senses.
McGuire throws a jab when Pinks was well out of range.
McGuire throws a body shot but no joy.
As McGuire backs off Pinks throws a huge counter combo but McGuire manages to avoid it all.
Pinks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGuire.
McGuire misses with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuire sends Pinks crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McGuire is motioning to the referee to let Pinks up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pinks circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pinks connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McGuire swings for the body but Pinks moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pinks! But no joy.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McGuire crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pinks - the referee stops the clock and McGuire gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pinks. McGuire manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pinks has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McGuire takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McGuire misses with a jab to the body
and Pinks makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. McGuire really felt that one!
McGuire throws a lazy head kick
and Pinks counters with a straight right hand.
Pinks looks to throw a body kick
and Pinks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McGuire throws a leg kick but Pinks sees it coming and moves out of range.
It seemed like Pinks was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
McGuire misses with a shot to the body
and Pinks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pinks throws the left hand but McGuire avoids the punch easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pinks avoids the head kick by McGuire.
And Pinks responds with a good body kick, but McGuire manages to step out the way in time.
McGuire scores with a leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGuire throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McGuire throws a lazy head kick
and Pinks counters with a flying knee. Nice.
McGuire throws a leg kick
and Pinks counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Pinks takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
McGuire closes the distance but Pinks moves to the side
and Pinks counters with a stiff right hand.
McGuire uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pinks.
Pinks tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pinks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pinks lands a really nice looking cross but McGuire seems unphased.
A combination from McGuire does no damage.
McGuire lands a big uppercut and Pinks crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pinks looks OK. McGuire waves Pinks back to his feet!
Ralph McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGuire throws a body shot but no joy.
Pinks is trying to counter with his kicks.
McGuire scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pinks doesn't seem bothered though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A clash of legs there as Pinks blocks the low kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for McGuire.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pinks missing with a left hand there. McGuire was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
McGuire is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Pinks is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McGuire had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
McGuire throws a predictable looking body shot
and Pinks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McGuire rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McGuire takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McGuire throws a wild body kick that Pinks sees coming a mile off.
Pinks just misses with a punch to the body.
Pinks walks forward, straight into a front kick from McGuire.
McGuire uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pinks has time to react.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pinks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGuire.
A countering left hand to the body from Pinks misses.
McGuire takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ralph McGuire dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Crunch! McGuire slams his shin into Pinks's torso.
Pinks misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McGuire.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. McGuire moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Pinks! McGuire continues to tee off on Pinks, landing with a left and a right! McGuire connects with a right hand that leaves Pinks sleeping against the cage! What a finish by McGuire!
