And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ay Blyad!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bleak takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bleak stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bleak wants it to stay on the feet.
Blyad scores with a jab.
Blyad misses with a low kick.
Bleak on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Blyad. Blyad obviously looking to wear him down.
Bleak lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bleak moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Blyad walks into a straight right hand from Bleak.
Blyad takes one on the button.

Bleak shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blyad looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Blyad looking for submissions off his back.
Blyad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bleak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blyad looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Bleak pushes past his half guard into mount!
Bleak tries to control but Blyad wriggling away.
Bleak lands a nice shot to the head.

Bleak looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
BOOM! Bleak connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Bleak is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Blyad has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Blyad!
Blyad pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bleak is keeping the position for now.
Blyad must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Blyad is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bleak is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bleak has escaped and now he's on top!

We've been hearing that Bleak has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blyad is desperately trying to improve his position but Bleak has a good base and remains in mount.
Bleak with a couple of short strikes.

Blyad is rocked!
Bleak landing strikes from the mount and Blyad is in trouble!
Blyad is still in real trouble! Can Bleak finish him?
Bleak postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Blyad bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Bleak and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darsin Bleak!
Our winner, Darsin Bleak, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
