Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joad Cressbeckler (ranked 383 p4p, 1596 weight class) and Osmany Pizziconi (ranked 59 p4p, 200 weight class). Cressbeckler comes to the cage accompanied by American Remains. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Osmany Pizziconi!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pizziconi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Cressbeckler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pizziconi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pizziconi or perhaps it was just good defense by Cressbeckler, which made it look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Pizziconi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Pizziconi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cressbeckler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

In his post fight interview, Osmany Pizziconi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
