Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gillechriosd McCoy (ranked 88 p4p, 289 weight class) and Lucky Lemon (ranked 4 p4p, 39 weight class). McCoy comes to the cage accompanied by YxngB - The Irish. Lucky Lemon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gillechriosd McCoy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucky Lemon!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McCoy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Lucky Lemon has been cut.
McCoy misses with a hook. Lemon ducked under it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from McCoy as Lemon shoots in.
Lemon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McCoy swivels and escapes.
Gillechriosd McCoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucky Lemon.
Lemon fails to land the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lemon is defended easily by McCoy.
McCoy throwing a counter right hand but Lemon manages to avoid it.
Lemon goes for a double leg but McCoy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McCoy continues to drive forward.
McCoy throws a jab but it's blocked by Lemon.
Lemon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lemon changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lemon shoots in looking for a takedown. McCoy tries to sprawl out of it but Lemon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCoy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like McCoy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lemon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McCoy defends well and Lemon ends up having to push McCoy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lucky Lemon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McCoy throws out a loose jab but Lemon uses good head movement to avoid it.

and McCoy scores with a counter punch that sends Lemon to the canvas! McCoy smells blood - he's punishing Lemon with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lemon has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gillechriosd McCoy!

A very excited looking Gillechriosd McCoy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
