Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Olan Zapina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Small Richard!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zapina moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Zapina connects with a body shot that sends Richard's belly button to the back.
Richard takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zapina throws a shot to the body.
Zapina throws a quick inside leg kick.
Zapina lands with a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zapina scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Richard blocks a leg kick.
And Richard tries to counter it with a takedown but Zapina pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Zapina misses with a leg kick
and Richard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zapina keeping moving, preventing Richard from controlling successfully.
Richard has gone for a leg lock! Zapina slips out almost immediately though and dives into Richard's guard.
Richard looking for a triangle here. Zapina is fighting it but it looks tight! Richard pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Zapina is tapping out - this one is all over!
