The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ONeill takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

ONeill drops his hands momentarily and Carioni takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carioni lands a big uppercut and ONeill crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but ONeill looks OK. Carioni waves ONeill back to his feet!

Carioni darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! ONeill's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Carioni before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
