The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mjölnir throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mjölnir looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Romanow takes a swing at Mjölnir's ribcage but misses.
It looked like Mjölnir wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Romanow misses with a lunging right hand
and Mjölnir cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Romanow tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Romanow counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Romanow.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Romanow working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Romanow postures up in Mjölnir's guard and throws a big left but Mjölnir blocks it.

Romanow unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Mjölnir wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Romanow celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
