Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Narloch (ranked 146 p4p, 474 weight class) and Jerry Short (ranked 11 p4p, 26 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leandro Narloch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerry Short! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Narloch connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Jerry Short has been cut. Short fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Short fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Narloch lands with an uppercut that bounces Short off the cage and back into range. Short looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Leandro Narloch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerry Short. Narloch sends Short crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Narloch is motioning to the referee to let Short up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Short is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Narloch throws a pinpoint strike between Short's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Short crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Narloch scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leandro Narloch! Jumping up and down and very excited, Leandro Narloch waved his t-shirt featuring 30th Century Beer Store's logo in front of the cameras.
