The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Obama.

It looks like Limu Emu has been cut.
Emu lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Emu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Obama is fending him off so far but Emu persists. Nope, Obama circles away and we're back to standing.
Emu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Obama's hands.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Obama will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Emu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Obama's head backwards.
Obama has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Obama there as he acknowledges the shot.
Emu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Emu dives in for a single leg takedown but Obama sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Obama throws an overhand right that lands on Emu's shoulder, as Emu tries to avoid the shot.
