Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Honorio (ranked 219 p4p, 195 weight class) and Bradley Rainey (ranked 32 p4p, 27 weight class). Honorio comes to the cage accompanied by Through the Darkness by Vinicius Honorio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vinicius Honorio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Bradley Rainey!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rainey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Honorio misses with a body shot.
Honorio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rainey paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rainey looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Honorio lunges at Rainey with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rainey's hand.
Rainey with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Honorio to score with a decent uppercut.
Rainey throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Honorio counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Honorio shoots for a takedown but Rainey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Honorio blocks a jab.
Honorio is looking to counter punch.
Honorio clinches up against the cage.
Honorio tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rainey's elbow.
Honorio swings wildly with an uppercut but Rainey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rainey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rainey is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Honorio works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Honorio makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Honorio wants to control from the top but Rainey keeps moving.
Honorio has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Honorio scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Rainey is looking for a triangle but Honorio pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Honorio stands and throws Rainey's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Honorio lands a decent elbow from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Honorio tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Honorio has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Honorio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rainey, who protects the arm well.
Rainey is looking for a sweep.

Honorio working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Rainey tries to buck Honorio off but Honorio is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rainey tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Honorio wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rainey gets back to half guard.
Honorio is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rainey looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Honorio pushes past his half guard into mount!
Rainey really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Honorio lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Honorio lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Honorio pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Honorio is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Rainey is rocked!

Rainey is trying desperately to improve position.
Honorio lands a big elbow - Rainey is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Rainey is forced to tap out!
