Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Welter Weight (ranked 1910 p4p, 2617 weight class) and Mousa Ndombele (ranked 243 p4p, 337 weight class). Weight kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is They say that I'm Crazy. Mousa Ndombele acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weight throws a body shot but no joy.
Ndombele lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ndombele smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ndombele throws a head kick but Weight moves out of range.
Mousa Ndombele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weight takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ndombele dips to his left and cracks Weight with an uppercut!

It looked like Weight wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ndombele is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Weight had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Ndombele throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Weight on the side of the head.

Ndombele bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Ndombele throws out a powerful jab.
Weight takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ndombele connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Weight momentarily.
Ndombele scores with a sloppy right hand. Weight should have avoided that one.

Ndombele is looking to chop away at Weight's legs.
Ndombele stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ndombele shoots in and bounces Weight off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Weight might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

The crowd cheers as Ndombele lands an impressive looking overhand right. Weight doesn't seem phased though.
