Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barack Obaminator (ranked 413 p4p, 446 weight class) and Kazuma Kiryu (ranked 50 p4p, 55 weight class). Obaminator's entrance music is Gil Scott-Herron - The Revolution Will Not Be Televised. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiryu throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Obaminator ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kiryu moves away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kiryu! But no joy.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kiryu.
Kiryu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kiryu throws a hook to the side of Obaminator's head but Obaminator sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kiryu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

As Kiryu backs away, Obaminator returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

It looks like Obaminator has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kiryu in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
