Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Giro Inhanamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Blank!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inhanamoto loads up on a big right hand but Blank slips the punch.
Inhanamoto connects with a good right hand that stumbles Blank. Blank circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Blank uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Inhanamoto has time to react.
Blank's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Blank duly obliges.
It looks like Giro Inhanamoto has been cut.
Blank misses with a left hand
and Inhanamoto makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Blank digs a good body shot into Inhanamoto's ribs.
Blank rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Inhanamoto counters with a nice body shot.
Blank goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blank feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Inhanamoto crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Billy Blank!
During a confident post fight interview, Billy Blank thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
