Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jax Chambers (ranked 288 p4p, 711 weight class) and Jan Moder (ranked 36 p4p, 90 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jax Chambers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Moder!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Moder counters with a left to the body.
Jax Chambers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moder is looking to chop away at Chambers's legs.
Moder bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chambers's head.
Moder jabs Chambers to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Moder throws a body shot but no joy.
Chambers misses with a low kick.
We've been told by Chambers's head coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Chambers tests Moder's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Moder has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Chambers looks to throw the jab but Moder is out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Moder creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Chambers's defenses.
It looks like Jax Chambers has been cut.

A head punch on the inside from Moder fails to land.

Moder pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Chambers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Moder's head backwards.

Moder lands a leg kick that knocks Chambers off balance momentarily.

Chambers throws a hook to the side of Moder's head but Moder sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Moder stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Moder throws a push kick but Chambers slaps the foot to one side.
Moder moves out of range of the strikes.
Chambers throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Moder on the side of the head.
Chambers takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Chambers throws a shot from downtown. Moder moves away and avoids it.
Chambers just misses with a punch to the body.
Chambers lands a nice shot that snaps Moder's head back.
Chambers is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Moder checks a leg kick.

Chambers lands a lovely overhand right.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jan Moder will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jax Chambers's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Chambers drops Moder with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Moder looks back up at him and smiles so Chambers waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Moder is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Chambers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Moder is still on wobbly legs! Can Chambers finish him?
That kick from Moder tenderised Chambers's leg. Chambers is trying to keep his angry face on.
Moder seems to have recovered his senses.
Moder looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Moder lands a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chambers throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Chambers ducks under a wild hook from Moder.

and Chambers counters with a nice uppercut.

Chambers has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Chambers fakes the body blow, causing Moder to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Moder goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

A relieved looking Jax Chambers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
