Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hall (ranked 557 p4p, 2410 weight class) and Ewgenju Scorfna (ranked 24 p4p, 116 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ewgenju Scorfna!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scorfna slips under a jab.
Scorfna avoids the body shot from Hall.
Scorfna with the counter takedown but Hall avoids it easily.
Scorfna shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hall but Hall pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Scorfna fails with a takedown attempt.
An attempted straight right counter from Hall misses the target.
Hall jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scorfna drops his hands momentarily and Hall takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Scorfna dives in for a single leg takedown but Hall sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hall scores with a crisp jab that stopped Scorfna in his tracks.

Hall throws a jab but it's blocked by Scorfna.
Scorfna walks into a stiff left hand from Hall.
Hall connects with a good right hand that stumbles Scorfna. Scorfna circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scorfna.
Hall fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Scorfna looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall misses with an uppercut.
Scorfna takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hall scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Hall shoots in and gets a takedown into Scorfna's guard.

Scorfna has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hall is really struggling to control Scorfna but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hall in particular looking to stall.

That's time! Hall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hall, as that shot connected.
Scorfna walks into a jab.
Scorfna takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hall defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Scorfna.

Scorfna looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hall lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hall.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Richard Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Scorfna is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hall knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scorfna thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hall is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Scorfna off and has taken his back!

Hall seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
