Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Iaspero Yalixqua (ranked 2336 p4p, 293 weight class) and Ngozi Chai (ranked 270 p4p, 40 weight class). Yalixqua kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stop This Flame. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 23 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Iaspero Yalixqua!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ngozi Chai!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yalixqua throws a poor cross that misses
and Chai counters with a straight right hand.
Yalixqua has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Catch Wrestling L.A. in the buildup to the fight.
Yalixqua throws a looping overhand right but Chai ducks down to avoid it.
Chai lands a leg kick that knocks Yalixqua off balance momentarily.
A slow jab from Yalixqua misses its intended target.
Chai looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Chai turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Yalixqua throws a body punch but Chai moves out of range.
Yalixqua throws a hook but Chai avoids it easily.
Yalixqua throws out a loose jab but Chai uses good head movement to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Yalixqua misses the target.
Yalixqua lands a leg kick that knocks Chai off balance momentarily.
Chai misses with an attempted mid kick.
Yalixqua takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Chai tests Yalixqua's chin there with a solid looking shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chai lands a knee to the head.
Yalixqua lands with a light punch inside.
Chai working aggressively here.
Chai looking to throw knees to the head but Yalixqua is blocking nicely.
Chai scores with a shot to the side of Yalixqua's head.
Yalixqua lands a left hand that snaps the head of Chai backwards.
Yalixqua struggles to land a body shot inside as Chai controls his hands.

Chai tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chai doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A big right from Yalixqua misses.
Despite the aggression on Chai's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Yalixqua misses the shot to the body.
Chai misses with a hook
and Yalixqua cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yalixqua moves away.
Chai throws a good cross that connects.
Yalixqua connects with a solid leg kick.
Chai swings widly with a right hand
and Yalixqua counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Chai to the mat! Yalixqua runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Chai is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
Chai is rocked!
Chai drops his guard momentarily, allowing Yalixqua to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Chai! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Yalixqua takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Iaspero Yalixqua!
Iaspero Yalixqua is the new welterweight champion!
Iaspero Yalixqua decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
