Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Olyn Seran (ranked 10 p4p, 233 weight class) and Darsin Bleak (ranked 2 p4p, 34 weight class). Seran comes to the cage accompanied by Sound of Silence - Disturbed. Bleak is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enter Sandman. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seran moves out of range as Bleak strikes.

It looks like Olyn Seran has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seran throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bleak drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Seran defends it well.

Seran looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Seran defending well as Bleak loads up on a big left hand.
Seran lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Seran bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bleak manages to work his way to half guard, despite Seran's best efforts.
Bleak tries to get to full guard but Seran has control of the leg.

Bleak won't allow Seran to pass to mount.
Bleak felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Bleak is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Seran has his hands clasped together but Bleak extends and breaks Seran's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bleak.
