Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adan Puno (ranked 275 p4p, 400 weight class) and Ali Amir (ranked 35 p4p, 51 weight class). Amir comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mastodon - Gobblers of Dregs kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amir takes the fight into the clinch.
I was talking to Puno's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Puno was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Puno lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Amir head around and knocks him out cold! Puno hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
