Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antti Railio (ranked 120 p4p, 217 weight class) and JD Drake (ranked 5 p4p, 13 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Drake's choice of entrance music: Born in the USA by - Bruce Springstein. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, JD Drake!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a poor cross that misses
and Railio counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like JD Drake has been cut.
Drake moves out of range as Railio strikes.
Drake takes one to the side of the head.
Good exchange - Drake coming out on top.
It looks like Antti Railio has been cut.
Drake scores with a jab.
Drake misses with a hook.
Drake misses with an uppercut.
Drake cracks Railio with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Drake has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Railio to stand back up!
Drake has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Railio lands the left hand.
Drake comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Drake wobbles Railio with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Drake dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Railio to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). JD Drake!
