The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy catches Venegas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
McCoy lands with a nice body punch.
Venegas misses with a takedown
and McCoy counters with a one-two to the body.
McCoy misses with a series of wild punches.
McCoy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McCoy wants it to stay on the feet.
McCoy scores with a jab to the head.
Venegas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McCoy finds it's way round the side to connect with Venegas 's head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Venegas .
Gillechriosd McCoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Venegas .
McCoy stuffs the takedown attempt from Venegas . Venegas gets slowly back to his feet.
Venegas with a poor takedown
and McCoy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A right-left combo lands from McCoy.
Venegas fails with the takedown
and McCoy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McCoy steps in with a hook that catches Venegas right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! McCoy follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Venegas looks absolutely devastated.
