Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nils Norling (ranked 440 p4p, 61 weight class) and Oliver Robson (ranked 59 p4p, 11 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 31 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Norling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 31 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Robson! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robson is looking to slow Norling down with leg kicks. Robson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Norling defends well and Robson ends up having to push Norling into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Norling swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Robson throws a combination that misses and Norling counters with a straight right hand. Nice defenses there by Norling. The fighters circling - Robson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Norling is looking to counter punch. Robson throws a series of punches but Norling avoids them all with ease. Robson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Norling takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Norling cracks Robson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Robson just misses with a punch to the body.

Oliver Robson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Robson feints and then cracks Norling's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Norling down. Robson lands a right hook to the body.

A low kick from Robson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Norling has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Norling and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Robson throws a lazy uppercut
and Norling connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Robson lands a jab to Norling's midsection. Norling drops his hands momentarily and Robson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Robson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. And that's the end of the fight! Oliver Robson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Robson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
