Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elrey Dorado (ranked 528 p4p, 641 weight class) and Carter Wright (ranked 69 p4p, 89 weight class). Dorado comes to the cage accompanied by MY STORY. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elrey Dorado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Carter Wright!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorado is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wright sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Carter Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wright tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dorado paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Dorado was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Wright lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That kick from Wright tenderised Dorado's leg. Dorado is trying to keep his angry face on.
Wright throws the left hand but Dorado avoids the punch easily.
Dorado jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
We've been hearing reports that Dorado has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A jab from Wright does it's job there.
Wright misses with a straight left.
Wright attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Dorado looks for a takedown but Wright sprawls well.
Dorado shoots in and drives through. Wright sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elrey Dorado. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wright bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dorado's head backwards.
Wright swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dorado avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Wright throws a hook but Dorado avoids it easily.
Wright throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dorado slips under a jab.
Dorado appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Dorado uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wright.
Dorado blocks a low kick nicely.
A swing and a miss from Wright.
The crowd cheers as Dorado lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wright doesn't seem phased though.
Dorado ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wright throws a leg kick that is checked
and Dorado counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wright!
Dorado is trying to get an arm triangle but Wright is defending well.
Dorado is working to tighten his grip on Wright's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Wright has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dorado is really squeezing tight and eventually Wright passes out! Dorado breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
