The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kosmanov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
O Brien throws a hook but Kosmanov blocks it.
O Brien is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kosmanov.

The fighters circling - O Brien throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kosmanov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kosmanov misses with a shot to the body
letting O Brien counter with a right hand.
O Brien swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kosmanov blocks a jab.

Kosmanov throws a hook but O Brien avoids it easily.
Kosmanov throws a hook to the side of O Brien's head but O Brien sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kosmanov walks straight into a right hand from O Brien - that's dropped him! O Brien jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kosmanov from any more punishment! Kosmanov complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Seamus O Brien was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
