Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Dinklage (ranked 1890 p4p, 1120 weight class) and Volodymyr Kersikov (ranked 135 p4p, 85 weight class). Kersikov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DEF LEPPARD - Pour Some Sugar On Me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Dinklage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Volodymyr Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kersikov defending well as Dinklage loads up on a big left hand.

Dinklage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kersikov manages to avoid it.
Kersikov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dinklage counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Kersikov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kersikov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dinklage had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

It looked like Dinklage wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Kersikov has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Kersikov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kersikov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dinklage sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Kersikov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dinklage stacks Kersikov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dinklage!

I would just about give that final round to Volodymyr Kersikov.
Well Kersikov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
