Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Emmanuel Couture!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fiya Patron!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Couture wants to clinch
and Patron makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Patron keeps the fight on the outside.
Couture tries to clinch there but Patron circles away.
Patron takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Patron misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Couture.
Couture steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Patron.
Couture appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Couture doesn't manage to clinch there - Patron circles away.
Patron's jab looks to have found its range, popping Couture under the eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Couture takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Couture misses with a double jab
and Patron counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Patron showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Couture.
Patron appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Couture throws a lazy right hand but Patron sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
As Couture backs off Patron throws a huge counter combo but Couture manages to avoid it all.
Patron scores with a sloppy right hand. Couture should have avoided that one.
Emmanuel Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Couture wants to clinch.
A cross from Couture lands.
Couture moves in looking to clinch but Patron pushes him off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Patron. Couture does a little dance to reset his feet.
Couture tries to clinch but Patron moves out of range.
Patron swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Couture tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Couture tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Patron manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Patron throws a body shot but no joy.
Couture definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Couture darts in trying to clinch
and Patron counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Patron misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Couture.
Couture clobbers Patron with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Patron avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Patron scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Couture throws a poor cross that misses
and Patron counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Couture thinking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Patron moves away from the strike by Couture.
Couture takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Couture misses with a two punch combination.
Nice cross by Patron.

Couture tries to close the distance and clinch but Patron swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Patron is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Couture rather than just go for the knockout.
Couture misses with a left hand
enabling Patron to counter with a crisp jab.
Couture cracks Patron with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Couture throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Couture misses with a jab, cross combination.
Patron connects with a body shot.
Couture with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Patron to score with a decent uppercut.
Patron dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Oh Couture is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Patron on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Couture walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Patron swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
