Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zayden Ahmad (ranked 2109 p4p, 1661 weight class) and Georges Moxley (ranked 184 p4p, 158 weight class). Moxley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Andre Nickatina - Color of the Benz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zayden Ahmad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Moxley!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moxley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Moxley sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ahmad is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Moxley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ahmad keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moxley is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ahmad has escaped the position, nice work there.
Moxley wants to control but Ahmad is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ahmad is looking for a sweep.

Moxley is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ahmad has escaped the position, nice work there.

Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Moxley is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ahmad will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Ahmad struggling a bit here.

Moxley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ahmad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
You can see the frustration on Ahmad's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ahmad gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Ahmad is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Moxley is trying to work for a kimura but Ahmad is defending well.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Moxley throws a nice looking combination but Ahmad bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ahmad uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Moxley.
Ahmad quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Moxley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Ahmad wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Moxley lands a jab-cross combination.
Georges Moxley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ahmad looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ahmad misses with a looping left.

Ahmad tries to keep at a distance but Moxley has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ahmad misses with some punches.
Ahmad working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ahmad tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Moxley is looking to break free of the clinch but Ahmad has double underhooks.
Moxley blocks an uppercut.

Moxley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moxley misses with a jab to the body
letting Ahmad counter with a right hand.
Moxley goes for a double leg but Ahmad avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ahmad continues to drive forward.
Moxley gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Moxley is rocked!
Ahmad weaves into range and cracks Moxley right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Moxley goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Ahmad is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
