Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Temple (ranked 624 p4p, 2018 weight class) and Magnus Thorgard (ranked 90 p4p, 242 weight class). Temple's entrance music is HonestKey- What My Life For. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trent Temple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Magnus Thorgard!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorgard uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Temple.
Temple ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Temple bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Temple swings around for an armbar but Thorgard sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Temple's guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thorgard cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Temple definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thorgard is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Temple has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Temple!

Thorgard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Temple's guard.
Temple wants to sweep but no luck.

Thorgard is landing with some decent strikes but Temple is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Temple is squirming around, avoiding Thorgard's attempts to control the action.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Thorgard! Temple is hurt baaadly! Thorgard is firing away with more strikes - Temple is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
