Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Fisher (ranked 70 p4p, 129 weight class) and Kaengsaklek Sitsongrit (ranked 6 p4p, 12 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kaengsaklek Sitsongrit was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Fisher! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kaengsaklek Sitsongrit! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sitsongrit connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Fisher throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sitsongrit counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Fisher misses with a body shot
letting Sitsongrit counter with a right hand.
Fisher is rocked! Good leg kick by Fisher. Fisher lands the left hand. Fisher throws a jab when Sitsongrit was well out of range. Fisher dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Fisher takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The crowd cheers as Sitsongrit lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fisher doesn't seem phased though. Oh Fisher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fisher checks the leg kick. A counter left hand to the body from Fisher misses its target. Fisher misses with a hook
and Sitsongrit counters with a big right hand! Oh Fisher is in trouble here! Sitsongrit follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaengsaklek Sitsongrit! Kaengsaklek Sitsongrit is the new featherweight champion! In defeat, John Fisher stepped up to the mic, saying 'He's champ for a reason. Good fight Odin, maybe we'll run it back one day when the belt is on the line.'.
