Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jorgen Kruth (ranked 147 p4p, 193 weight class) and Suriyan Sitsongrit (ranked 18 p4p, 19 weight class). Kruth kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Hole Sun- Soundgarden. Suriyan Sitsongrit told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruth shoots in and drives through. Sitsongrit sprawls well.
Sitsongrit displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kruth.
It seemed like Sitsongrit was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Kruth wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sitsongrit, who protects the arm well.
Sitsongrit pushes Kruth away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kruth gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We've been hearing good reports from Kruth's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Jorgen Kruth decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
