Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Honorio (ranked 489 p4p, 335 weight class) and Ivan Jomoney (ranked 64 p4p, 42 weight class). Honorio comes into the arena with Through the Darkness by Vinicius Honorio blaring out of the sound system. Ivan Jomoney has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jomoney stuffs the takedown attempt from Honorio. Honorio gets slowly back to his feet.
Honorio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jomoney jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jomoney rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Honorio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Honorio uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jomoney.
Jomoney throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Honorio on the side of the head.
Honorio steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jomoney.
Sloppy strikes from Honorio. Those never looked like landing.

A little jabbing left from Jomoney on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Jomoney content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Honorio has locked up a guillotine! Honorio's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Jomoney is holding on here and Honorio must be using up a lot of energy. Jomoney has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Honorio gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
