The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Soares lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jankovic doesn't seem phased though.
Soares lands a two punch combo.
Jankovic throws a hook but Soares avoids it easily.
Jankovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Soares instigates a clinch.
Jankovic tries to land knees in the clinch but Soares avoids the damage to the body.
Jankovic misses with a hook from the clinch.
Jankovic digs a right hand underneath Soares's ribcage. Soares let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Soares can't find room to land a body shot as Jankovic controls the action.
Jankovic landing some nice looking knees to the body.

A left hand lands to the body for Jankovic.
Soares goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jankovic scores with a nice hook to the head.
