Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Satanic Panic (ranked 32 p4p, 99 weight class) and Darsin Bleak (ranked 6 p4p, 12 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Panic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Freezing Moon. Bleak is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enter Sandman. Darsin Bleak has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 30 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Satanic Panic! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darsin Bleak! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bleak on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A jab from Bleak finds it's way through Panic's defenses.
It looks like Satanic Panic has been cut. Bleak takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bleak bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Panic's head. Panic throws a front kick that sends Bleak stumbling back into the cage. A big left from Panic misses. Panic is looking to land body kicks. Satanic Panic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Panic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bleak swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Panic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bleak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Panic avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bleak. Panic on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bleak trying to control from half guard but Panic is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panic blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bleak. Bleak wants to pass the guard but Panic is defending well. Bleak throwing shots but Panic is blocking nicely. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bleak working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Bleak looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Panic is positioning himself well to prevent Bleak advancing to mount. Panic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Panic is trying to get back to full guard. Bleak wants to control but Panic is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bleak lands with a punch from half guard. Bleak throwing shots but Panic is blocking nicely. Bleak looks to land a strike but Panic avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Panic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bleak trying to control from the bottom.
Bleak is looking for a sweep. Panic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Panic is taking a breather. Bleak says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bleak is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Panic pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panic prevents Bleak from improving his position. Panic controlling the pace. Panic prevents Bleak from improving his position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bleak keeps trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bleak is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bleak is trying to control but can't.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Panic lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Panic connects with a jab. Panic clinches up against the cage. Bleak presses Panic against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Panic misses with a hook to the ribs.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Panic. Panic doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A head punch on the inside from Panic fails to land. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Satanic Panic will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Satanic Panic's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Bleak ducks under a wild hook from Panic. Panic scores with a spinning back kick! Bleak with a nice cross. Panic lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Darsin Bleak has been cut. Panic swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Panic with the inside leg kick. Bleak uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Panic.
Bleak throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Panic sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nice shot lands for Panic. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Panic moves out of range of the strikes. It looked like Panic was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bleak. Panic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bleak misses with a straight left. Panic lands a jab to the nose.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panic misses with an uppercut. Bleak saw that one coming. Panic lands with a good body shot. Panic lands a nice shot that snaps Bleak's head back.
Panic jabs Bleak right on the nose. Bleak blinks but takes it well.
Bleak is rocked! Panic lands a jab. Bleak is still on wobbly legs! Can Panic finish him? Panic stuns Bleak with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bleak chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Panic can pounce on him.
Bleak seems to have recovered his senses. Panic misses with a wild combination.
Bleak throws out a counter right but Panic avoids it with no problem. Panic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bleak bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bleak! But no joy. Panic throws a poor cross that misses
and Bleak counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bleak closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Panic's guard. Bleak wants to pass the guard but Panic is keeping the position. Bleak lands a couple of elbows. Bleak working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bleak working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bleak tries to free his leg and advance position but Panic is retaining full guard. Bleak is looking to work some ground and pound but Panic has wrist control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bleak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bleak trying to control the position from guard on top but Panic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bleak in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Panic keeping moving, preventing Bleak from controlling successfully. Bleak throws an elbow that misses. Panic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bleak's guard. Nice move by Panic! Panic won't allow Bleak to sweep him here. Panic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bleak has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Panic has managed to get both his arms back between Bleak's legs - danger averted. Panic trying to control the position from guard on top but Bleak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bleak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bleak is looking for a triangle here but Panic uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bleak tries to buck Panic off but Panic is having none of it. Darsin Bleak has got the better of the ground game so far. Panic gets to mount! Bleak was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Bleak sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Satanic Panic dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Bleak looks to throw the jab but Panic is out of range. Panic is looking to counter with a body kick. Bleak on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Panic throws a lazy uppercut
and Bleak counters with a straight right hand. Bleak darts in looking for a takedown but Panic gets double underhooks and turns Bleak into the cage. Panic throws a hook but Bleak avoids it easily. Bleak lands a jab to the nose. Panic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Panic scores with a push kick. Bleak scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bleak looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bleak is working for a kimura but Panic is defending it quite comfortably.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bleak thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bleak throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bleak trying to control from Panic's half guard. Panic has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bleak throwing strikes from guard but Panic blocks nicely. Bleak tries to free his leg and advance position but Panic is retaining full guard. Bleak trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Panic has Bleak pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bleak chips away with some ground and pound. Bleak throws an elbow that misses. Panic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bleak's guard. Nice move by Panic! Bleak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bleak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Panic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Panic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bleak looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bleak is controlling Panic's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bleak has his foot on Panic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Panic works his way back into a safe position though. Panic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bleak is keeping the position for now. Bleak bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Panic's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bleak with a flurry of punches that miss. Bleak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bleak wants to pass the guard but Panic is keeping the position. Panic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bleak wants to pass the guard but Panic is keeping the position. Panic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bleak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Panic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bleak manages to get himself to full guard.
Panic content to stall in guard here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Panic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bleak swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Panic uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bleak. Bleak with a hook. Bleak takes a body punch but keeps moving. A big left from Bleak misses. Panic with a nice calf kick. Bleak avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bleak tests Panic's chin there with a solid looking shot. Panic throws a jab when Bleak was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bleak checks a leg kick. And Bleak tries to counter it with a takedown but Panic pushes his down on his head and steps out. Panic fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bleak is out of range. Satanic Panic is winning the standup battle so far. Panic looks to land a left hand but Bleak moved out of range nicely. Bleak tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Bleak paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bleak looks to throw the jab but Panic is out of range. Panic cracks Bleak with a right hand to the side of the head. Panic is looking to slow Bleak down with leg kicks. Panic ducks under a wild hook from Bleak. Bleak with a lazy takedown attempt and Panic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A lazy left from Panic finds it's target. Panic tries to close the distance and clinch but Bleak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Panic with a nice calf kick. Panic lands with a right hand. Satanic Panic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick by Panic misses so Bleak counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bleak wants to pass the guard but Panic is keeping the position. Bleak is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bleak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bleak passes Panic's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bleak lands strikes from half guard. Bleak working the head and body with strikes. Panic blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bleak. Panic is looking for a sweep. Bleak is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Panic throws a leg kick that is checked and Bleak decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Panic's guard. Bleak passes Panic's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bleak tries to pass the half guard into mount. Panic knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bleak is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Panic defends it well. Bleak missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bleak wants to free his trapped foot but Panic is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bleak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bleak wants to take a breather but Panic is having none of it. Bleak trying to control from Panic's half guard. Panic has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bleak tries to free his leg and advance position but Panic is retaining full guard. Bleak is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Panic is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Panic has escaped and now he's on top!

Bleak is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bleak is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Panic is trying to maintain the position but Bleak is very close to passing his half guard. Bleak tries to pass the half guard into mount. Panic knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Panic controlling the position for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Darsin Bleak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bleak has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
